为拓宽国际学术视野，引进优质教育资源，营造良好的教育教学文化氛围，我校教师教育研究院日博亚洲现邀请特伦特大学心理学系终身教授，加拿大华人心理学家刘漠威教授来校讲学，担任“教师教育学术论坛”主讲嘉宾，请广大师生踊跃参与。

一 主讲人简介

刘漠威，加拿大华人心理学家。刘漠威博士曾在加拿大西安大略大学获得博士学位并完成博士后研究工作，现任特伦特大学心理学系终身教授，特伦特大学教育先导及教学革新杰出教师奖得主。刘漠威博士曾担任Social Development, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology等重要学术期刊以及多部发展心理学教材的评审工作，主要研究领域涉及家庭教育，同伴关系、文化背景对儿童及青少年认知发展、社会以及情绪适应的影响等，曾主持加拿大社会人文科学院基金，安大略省儿童及青年部科研基金等多项研究课题，其科研成果曾在Social Development, International Journal of Behavioral Development, Developmental Psychology等重要国际学术期刊发表。

Since she obtained her PhD degree and completed her postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Western Ontario, Mowei Liu has been working at the Dept. of Psychology of Trent University, Canada. As a dedicated teacher, Prof. Liu was nominated to receive the “Distinguished Teaching Award for Educational Leadership & Innovation in Instruction” at Trent University. As an outstanding researcher, Prof. Liu has been acting as a reviewer for developmental psychology textbooks and important scientific journals such as Social Development, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology etc. Her major research area includes parenting practices, peer relationships, cultural background and their relations to cognitive development, social and emotional adjustment in children and youth. Prof. Liu was the principal investigator for many research projects funded by SSHRC, Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services and other agencies. Her research findings were published in major prestigious international journals such as Social Development, International Journal of Behavioral Development, Developmental Psychology etc.
